answer to prayer: i got a washing machine.
my friend jill posted on facebook: "anyone want a free washing machine?"
i said yes, and here we are.
shining, glowing, and currently washing my first load of laundry.
i used to do my laundry at my parent's house, which is an hour away, and yes.... sometimes that meant i'd only do my laundry once a month. i'm okay with that, because i actually don't have the highest standards of Clean for my clothes. i'm cool with re-wearing things once or twice or three times. usually more, lets be real. i don't have a dryer, but i enjoy hanging clothes to dry. and plus, my neighbors dry their clothes in the window and we can always see them sitting there.... so now we can be twins.
big big thank you to jill's parents who gave it to me. i am still in shock and awe. i love this thing. i literally sit and just look at it, it's so beautiful.

also-------- everyone needs to know how great my dad is. i called him saturday morning, asking if he could come help me move it in and install it, and he dropped everything, drove an hour to pasadena, and helped me. well....i got him ice water while he did it all with my neighbor carl.
