i love buying kitchen items at Marshall's.
they have THE world's weirdest things.
for instance.
glitter sponge.
had to get it.

after i photographed it shining on the kitchen counter, i noticed my OCD-status collection of empty glass bottles and jars. i think i'd have a panic attack if anyone threw away something glass while in my house. its so pretty. and i swear i'll need the empty jar of pineapple salsa one day. and the twin empty perrier bottles. and the empty marinara sauce jar. 100% useful and worth saving on my little ledge. (what happens when there's no more room?)
hoarders, anyone?

(09.10.10 @ 09:34 AM)I agree with Ro. I don't throw away glass either... in fact, I even shop sometimes more for the container that something is in than for what is actually in it. Hoard while you can.

(09.10.10 @ 07:03 PM)ha! i do this too... i really like the jars that brushetta comes in at trader joe's... and i save them all. my family thinks i'm nuts. glass is so pretty! and at the same time so functional.
(09.11.10 @ 02:13 PM)Ha! I'm a jar hoarder too! I have them in multiple cabinets and I fill them with grains and flours. My husband makes fun of me for never letting any hit the recycling bin.
