i enjoy disorienting myself,
making sure my world has a little shaking up going on. doing things a teensy bit differently. and that's the key: teensy. small changes not gigantic ones.
the first time i layed on the floor and listened to norah jones was monumental for me.
looking at things differently, even though it was simple move: just laying flat on the floor.
it does something in my life though.
refreshes me up and roots me down.
i come back to the norah/floor plan when i feel like the world is going nutty and it makes me feel really good again.

When I was little, I would lie on the floor and imagine roller skating across the ceiling! It always changed my perspective; thank you for reminding me.
