i lived here until i was 13, so its fun to visit the place i grew up.
we stayed at the Listel Hotel last night, and the first thing i noticed upon walking in the room was the coffee order form. they offer free french pressed coffee delivered right to your room. i think i just fell in love with a hotel.

we went on a little walk around the harbor.....................................

more to come!
shan & her dad!
I love the touch of the French Press it must make it seem like home away from home.
(07.27.09 @ 02:35 PM)Hi Shannon, wish Whistler was closer so we could drive over there and give you a hug! It's about a day's drive away. I'm in the mountains, too. There are 6 mountain passes between you and me My mountains are still being hit by lightening every day - even this afternoon! love ya
(07.27.09 @ 08:40 PM)Uggg...Brush Script! I agree - worse than Comic Sans. Though I got sick of a font while I was in college called P22 Cezanne - it was EVERYWHERE in like 2002-2004!
(07.30.09 @ 04:53 PM)I would have to agree that Papyrus is the worst font ever. But Brush Script is pretty bad as well. :)

Shannon! Have I told you I love your site? I'm following it from the interweb cafes of Burma [hey, if you ever have a contest involving readers who live in the best parts of the world...can I enter? :)] It adds sparkle and color to my otherwise monsoon-y days. Thanks for sharing the things you See with us on the other side of the world.
